Week 2: Gabriel Mata — Saturday, April 3 · 7:30pm

A season-defining festival at Dance Loft, opening with a weekend devoted to the choreography of Diana Movius — featuring Prokofiev 7, Obsidian, Praying for Rain, an excerpt from Glacier, and the Moon Walk Pas de Deux from Starstruck, a survey of the company's range from the architectural to the elemental — and continuing across three more weeks spotlighting artists-in-residence Gabriel Mata, Robert Priore (Compañía Medusa), Kevin Malone (ktm eXtreme), Tara Kumar (DMV Adavus), and Angel Ramirez.
